Would recommend

Museum is great for lovers of christian art. You will learn a lot through out the 3 floors. They offer free audio guides in english. Not all of the displayed art has signs in english. When we visited the rooms were really cold so I wouldn't recommend wearing just a tank top. The staff was very very nice.

    Interesting museum outside Amsterdam
The museum is really interesting. Rich collection of paintings of reformist Christian artists reflecting the essence of the break with tradition of Catholic Church. Authentic spiritual pictures, treasuries and statues. You begin to understand the ideas behind medieval Dutch artifacts and their meaning to Peale of the times. Recommended for visitors who have already been in traditional sites in Amsterdam

    Well worth a visit
This is The Netherlands' national museum of Christian art, culture and history. It's housed in a medieval monastery, and includes both Protestant and Catholic art and cultural objects. It's not large, but you could spend a lot of time here. Unfortunately, I was under a time constraint, and so although I was able to visit all the rooms, I didn't absorb everything that there was to see. The Treasury is particularly impressive, with a range of obviously precious items, but all the rooms are of interest. The museum goes to a lot of trouble to present information in English. There's both a booklet and an informative guide, and even a transcript of the text of the “sound cones” that are used in a number of places. At the time of my visit, there was a temporary exhibition, too, dealing with religion and tolerance.
