In Lage Vuursche is one of the five beautiful locations of Klimbos Netherlands located: Klimbos Gooi-Eemland. Through challenging bridges and nets, sturdy lianas and crazy zip lines, you will experience an amazing adventure in the middle of nature. All routes are expertly developed with high quality material. Safety has the highest priority. You climb in Lage Vuursche with a continuous zeker system so you can safely climb independently. Everything is TÜV-certified. This Klimbos has no less than 10 different routes where the level and the heights differ per route. The perfect getaway for young and out! You can climb from the age of 7 years and start with the 4 junior routes at a height of 2 to 7 meters. Please note, the child must have a height of 1.20m. A visit to Klimbos Gooi-Eemland takes about 3.5 hours, including instruction. Unique to this location is the trail route over a huge naturally formed hole. A special experience to flee over!

Fun for all the family
In all fairness, probably not for the very young (under 7) or the (very) old or less able, but even if you don't want to climb you can walk around in the woods and watch your friends/relatives. With our teenage daughters however, we had a fantastic time. The girls were allowed to take the routes in the 'grote bos' ('large woods') and us parents decided to join them. After we had taken the green, blue and red route we decided that was enough excitement for us and we ended with the brown route, which consisted of zip wires only. The girls were more daring than us and completed their climbing adventure by choosing the black route. Het Klimbos offers plenty of variety to keep you on your toes. Some routes are easier than others. Safety measures are paramount, so you're never in any danger of falling down. Just show caution when wearing glasses, because they can be knocked off if you're not careful. Prior to our visit we booked online on the day. We were lucky that we found a slot available at such short notice. Beforehand we had a hot drink on the premises. We could have also stayed for a barbecue afterwards, but we decided against this. All in all good value for money and a good alternative to a far more expensive amusement park.

Lots of fun!
Took my six year old daughter for a climb here, both her and me had a lot of fun. The crew was kind and helpful and provided clear instructions. The routes were challenging, but fun. Worth a visit!
