Munising Falls near sunset
On our final day in Munising we stopped at Munising Falls. It was an easy hike to the falls. There are two stairways on either side. The stairway on the right as you approach the falls took you up to a walkway that was next to a rock wall with a small cave. The view from this walkway placed you closer to the falls. The stairway on the left did give you a better view of the bottom of the falls where the water hit a large rock below. The sky was partly cloudy but when the sunset came through the clouds it made the falls look like they were orange. I recommend seeing these falls if you are in Munising or anywhere nearby.

Pleasant hike to the falls
A Beautiful winter day for a short hike to the falls. It's about 800 feet from the parking lot on a nicely groomed trail to the falls. You can hear the water move as you walk up to see how beautiful the falls becomes frozen.

Nice easy walk to beautiful falls.
This is a nice easy walk to a beautiful waterfall. The path to the lower viewpoint is easy, with the upper viewpoint requiring climbing some stairs. If possible, you should try to visit both the lower and upper viewpoints. There was a trailer with rangers at the entrance, but otherwise there was no visitor center in mid-September, 2022, although it looked like there was some building going on. There was ample signage and the rangers were helpful. The trail is dog friendly.
