Miners Falls, Michigan, United States

4.5 (612 reviews) Spent Ranking #6 in Upper Peninsula Waterfalls

Second best falls we’ve seen in the UP so far according to us

Exceeded our expectations! A beautiful wide path through the woods to the falls gives you a nice view from the platform with minimal steps & some small hills. However, for the best view it is worth going down the flight of steps to the lower platform if you’re able to. About a 1-1/2 mile round trip walk. We’ve seen a few waterfalls throughout the UP but certainly not all of them. So far this is our 2nd favoritest. Beautiful!!!

Stunning falls, a little bit of a hike to get to that is not wheelchair/walker friendly..
Oh wow! These falls are absolutely beautiful to see. There are 2 viewing areas. The second one has kind of steep stairs, so I would not recommend it to people who have issues with stairs. The 1.2 round trip hike to the falls is very nice, so much nature all around you, so peaceful. However, these falls ARE NOT accessible to those who are in a wheelchair, or need a walker. The uneven path, with stones, tree roots sprouting up can be a HUGE trip hazard to anyone let alone those with mobility or gait issues.

    Beautiful waterfall
This is one of the bigger waterfalls you will find in munising. The trail to get to it is a nice walk in the woods with some stairs at the end to look at the upper and lower parts of the falls. I didn't feel like the upper view offered much to look at if you had to decide on one over the other. I would definitely go for the lower view. There isn't a lot of parking and it was very crowded when we went. I don't think this hike would be very easy for younger kids (under 5). But if you like walking and nature this spot is for you.
