ENCHANTING
Definitely one of the Must See Places in the World. The beauty and atmospere that hits the visitors as soon as they approach this beautiful Bridge is amazing. I would strongly reccomend to look at the Bridge from the river side before actually walking through it. The Bridge reflection on the River Arno is so incredibly beautiful - and we were so lucky to be there on a sunny winter day. The lights from the shops on the bridge are amazing, the wooden outerframes and the sparkle of the gold and silvers in the shop windows are captivating. We saw it both during the day and at late evening and in both occasions it gives the impression of being in another time - you would aspect to see the De Medici passing through on their horses any time ! Definitely reccomend a visit if you are lucky enough to be in beautiful Florence.

Great walk and beautiful view
Ponte Vecchio is a must in Florence, it is beautiful and a nice walk to and from it into Florence downtown. I liked the environment the first days of January (2023) with the lights projected over the face of the bridge, the music in the bridge, and the walk around. There is a good bar/restaurant very close to the bridge, by the river, which is part of the Salvatore Ferragano building, very nice to sit by the window to have some wine and eat some snacks.
