Relax and have a wine
A beautiful main square in the city with restaurants and shops around the edge. It was nice to come here after eating at a restaurant and sit with a glass of wine whilst enjoying the atmosphere of the place. I didn't eat at any of the restaurants here as I got told by many they are the typical tourist trap - expensive and not the best food... but it's certainly nice enough to have a wine or two and gives you a good vibe of the city.

The Torre de Mangia dominates this nine-part, extremely large piazza. It was very historic and not especially crowded byt my view was tempered a bit by the expensive, overrated meal we had at one of the restaurants. However as someone else pointed out, operating costs including the leasehold must be far from cheap for the business. There is no seating in the centre of the 'square' as I assume installing some would be at odds with history.
