    Unexpectedly nice
    We stumbled upon this place on our way to Rize. Very quiet and peaceful as there were very few tourists due to COVID. I can imagine that it would not be as nice when the crowds are here. Scenic, but wished there were less hotels and restaurants in the area.

    Saudi Arabia?
    Visited here on an organised tour from Bodrum. Yes from a distance it's a beautiful lake. But shops very commercialised, not particularly clean, litter everywhere. My biggest problem, which I've never encountered anywhere else in Turkey, was as a white British female dressed in shorts and tee-shirt, I felt a little bit intimidated and was constantly being stared at. I was actually glad to leave.
