My first lesson about Attaturk
I'm Australian and history was not something I did well in school. This museum is my first introduction to the man whose name is honoured in so many Turkish road maps. What a fantastic museum. So many photos with English subtitles. And anything I cannot understand I use Google translator app with photo setting. Great collection. A must if you are in Samsun.

Starting point of Independence War of Turks
We were excited to atend the building in which Ataturk has used when stepped to Anatolia to start Independence War. It was a hotel managed by a greek lady.
