Crystal clear river
Took a 30 minute boat tour along the river, busy queue to start,this is a very popular thing to do in Akyaka.The tour was leisurely, water was crystal clear, we can see the bottom of the fast flowing stream, very vibrant foliage can be seen underwatee. We saw few species of birds and the resident ducks and geese. Locals and tourists a like were taking a cooling dip by the river banks.

Holiday
Visited Akyaka for the day whilst staying in Marmaris. One bus to Marmaris bus station then another that stopped on the motorway for Akyaka. It was a 5min walk to the footpath. Views were stunning to look down at this village. Took about 15mins to walk down to the start of the village. Quite steep and all downhill to the sandy beach, it was quite when I visited, got the river boat around the village. Got a lovely fresh bread spiced chicken salad roll and soft drink from Pinarlar restaurant. All in this outing cost me £9. A great day out and great value for money.
