A spectacular place!...
On The side of highway fm Edremit to Çanakkale in Küçükkuyu Town,it is a well arranged and promoted private place about the history of olive and olive pil.Staff is very informative and kind, and here you can learn all about oil and soap.You also have the chance of purchase various kinds of olive oil and soap here at the small shop inside the Museum.Recommended.

Story of Olive Oil and Soap making
Adatepe museum,an original soap manufacturing building turned into museum featuring how to make olive oil and soap along with many appliances, gathered from the area for manufacturing them. Displays, olive presses, earthenware jars to preserve oil, soap boilers, cutters etc. Small museum, big enough to explain the processes has a courtyard with olive trees, benches underneath to rest, where there is a charming gift shop selling top quality olive oil, olives, herbal soaps, materails for olive oil and olive along with books and local guides. The shop also sells wooden cheese boards, trivets, napkin holders, etc. made out of olive trees. The entrance to museum is free and it is on the main road between Assos and Edremit where you can park your car in the front.

Worth to visit
If you are in Küçükkuyu area for any reason any time,Please do find about half an hour to stop at this very friendly and small complex where you can see and understand very well how olive oil is processed.Very good place in good order and easy to understand the production process.You can also buy olive oil and different kinds of soap here.Recommended.
