A great and unique monument
One of the oldest church from Romania, not so well known worth to take a visit here. The monument is on the list be included on UNESCO heritage. Raised in XIIIth century, this monument is built with stones from the ruins of Ulpia Traiana Sarmisegetusa. Great and valuable mural paintings from 1443 make this church unique. Worth to see it!

Most famous stone church in Romania
A mix of styles and materials, Densuș Church still covers several legends. It is reachable by car, you can visit inside. Allow some time to admire all the paints indoor, as well stones and ancient tumbs outside.

Historical church
Dating from 13th century and made from stone, this is a church about I learned in highschool history class, so it was on my bucket list. It is a calm and serene place and it is called St. Nicholas church. It is situated in Densus village and the road to it is very beautiful also. I arrived after 18:00 and I found the church closed, I could'nt get inside, and also we two were the only one in the church's court (which is a graveyard)...spooky :))
