    Beautiful bridges and river banks
    Timisoara has nickname Little Vienna! City lies on very nice Bega canal, with several bridges. Beautiful bridges and river banks are recommended places for walking or for taking an unforgettable rest. History: Timisoara lies at place near the Timis River and Bega River. The waters of these two rivers frequently flooded a land in the past, but rivers could be crossed. Due to hydrographic projects undertaken in the 18th century, the city no longer lies on the Timis River, but on the Bega canal.

    Bega is the symbol of Timisoara. I invite you to stroll through the banks of Bega.
    I think Timisoara is the only city in Romania that has public transport, including water (small ships on Bega). In addition, there are many parks on both banks, each park having its beauty. For a hot day, it's the best option to visit - Bega and its parks!
