Fun swinging bridge with animals on the other side
Fun little bridge. Bounces a little as you go over it. On the other side is a property with goats & peacocks, and my 3 year old loved looking at those! The riverview is beautiful. The only reason for not rating it 5 stars is because the bridge is a very short stop. You can spend 5-15min here, and it may be more fun in the Summer than in the off season.

Interesting Curiosity
We walked across several swinging bridges on our trip, but this one has an interesting history. People at visitor center said the property on one side had changed hands several times, making that side private property. The signs indicated "No trespassing," but we were told that there was a narrow strip that could be walked to get to road on the other side. Regardless, we just walked the bridge from one side to the other and enjoyed the view of the flowing water and countryside. We took some good pictures as well. I'm not sure where Dark Island is, but walking the bridge was a treat.

Lots of Fun
We visited this site and were the only ones there which allowed us to play on the bridge for a while. It doesn't swing much but it sure does bounce. We had an absolute blast. Definitely worth finding this place...listen to the water.
