Wonderful Snowy Day at the Towada Art Ceter

We enjoyed the permanent exhibition at the Towada Art Center. The light and airy building housed an international group of contemporary artists. The rooftop exhibit is closed during winter months. If driving, follow the signs to the lot. When you pay your entrance fee, they will give you a parking pass to exit.

    Worth a visit
    We came here after checking out online. Driven all the way for about an hour from Hachinohe. We thoroughly enjoyed it. It is very interactive and it is amazing! If you are passing by, do spare an hour or 2 to do a visit.

    Interesting and relatable art work at a modern musuem
    We loved this little modern art museum. Unlike most of the modern art museums, where I couldn't understand or relate to most of the art work. The art work at the Towada Art Center was more relatable. It's a great place to stay a few hours on your way to the Oirase Keiryu.
