Really good family walk
Freey to visit at any time, the Fairy Pools is magical place of outstanding natural beauty at the foot of the Cuillin mountains. The Fairy Pools is becoming increasingly popular so when you visit, please drive carefully on the single track roads, follow the parking enforcement notices and take all your litter away with you. There is a WC at the nearby Glenbrittle Campsite & Cafe along with some great coffee c/o the Cuillin Coffee Co. Thank you and we hope you enjoy your visit! N.B. The Fairy Pools carpark is owned by a separate community organisation called the Minginish Community Hall Association. The operation and maintenance of the Fairy Pools carpark has been leased to OATS and they set the parking charges:

Really good family walk
A very popular walk, so be prepared for queuing to get a car parking space (Priced at £6). There were attendants to guide you and because the walk doesn't take long the turn over of spaces was good. A walk suitable for all level of fitness, but i wouldn't take a push chair if you had really young kids. The first section is a steep descent, and on the way back steep ascent. But otherwise the gradient is constant but gradual. Big improvement this year is the addition of a second wooden bridge to replace the stepping stones. I wasn't brave enough to plunge into the pools, it was a rainy day, but can imagine it would be good on a warm sunny day.

Pleasantly surprising
I would avoid this place like the plague at peak time. I can see it being very touristy, very busy and very irritating. But off peak? BLOODY MARVELLOUS. Hardly any people and the pools themselves were magnificent, so magical and mesmerising. The car parking was £6 for all day although the walk to the top took less than an hour, even for a large person like myself, I'd say the walk is of medium intensity and very pleasant. The toilet facilities are incredibly clean and spacious. We will do the longer route next time, possibly doing the loop. In the winter... off peak... with barely any people.
