Not to be missed if you like nature
This was my favorite spot in Austin. We kayaked along this beautiful spring fed stream out to the Colorado river. The clarity and color of the water has you in awe as you paddle along. It is a great way to spend a few hours in nature.

Beautiful park including Barton Springs
We went on a winter crystal blue skied day and found easy free parking at the park and walked around a little bit and down to watch a few people do some lazy laps in Barton Springs pool which I'd imagine is even more inviting on a warmer day. The place was scattered with e-scooters which we tried through they are quite expensive and not comfortable on the grit trails. The Austin B-Cycles were also around but the screens weren't working to hire them and for some reason probably insurance they didn't want any kids on bikes which made touring the park as visitors somewhat limiting but looked like it had lots of touring potential and tranquil against the city skyline
