Woody's Bar & Grill, Texas, United States

4.0 (12 reviews) Spent Ranking #1 in Mineral Wells Bars & Clubs

Another great, old place!

I have been coming here for over 50 years, first with my dad back in the day, now with my wife! Burgers come in three sizes, one patty, two patties or three patties! No fries so chips are served with the burger. They also have some of the coldest beer in town! Beer and burgers in Mineral Wells, what a day! I would be careful on the weekends, I have seen some wanna be bikers frequent the bar, they looked ridiculous, but just stupid enough to be dangerous.

    Great for years!
Was in Mineral Wells so I went back to one of my favorite haunts... Woody's. I have not been here in at least 10 years. The place hasn't really changed a bit. No frills, friendly service and great burgers. It's great to see a place that sticks to its roots. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Still one of the best burgers around!

Has it's place in Mineral Wells, but don't agree with the Hype
Smokey, yes.... yuk. Fairly popular place, friendly. Not sure I understand the rave reviews on how great the burgers are. I saw them throw the frozen patties on the grill and thought it was no different than Sonic or anyplace else. No fries, no onion rings. Got our burgers to go due to the smoke smell, went to Braum's down the street to get some crinkle cut fries, then to Burger King for onion rings (BK onion rings aren't the greatest, but they were close by.) Interesting to sit and watch ppl while chomping on the ONLY side dish.... small bowl of sliced pickled jalepenos and a bag of Lays potato chips! I'll bet the place is pretty happening at night when ppl have had plenty of beers as far as the bar scene goes. Goblets of draft extremely cold. Happy hour long necks $3.25? Kinda pricey. Oh... no cards, cash only.
