If visiting Pittsburg, Tx. another must see place!
Bo Pilgrim of Pilgrim's Pride chicken had this park and prayer tower built and he used to pray every morning at 5:00am before the start of his business day. Beautiful and serene to visit!

Beautiful Prayer Tower & Park in Pittsburg, Texas!
We were traveling through the intersection of Lafayette and Jefferson Streets in Pittsburg, Texas this past week when the Prayer Tower bells chimed and started playing a beautiful Christian Hymn. You see, it was exactly 1 pm in the afternoon and the bells chime on the hour. Needless to say, we stopped to listen and then decided to visit the rest of Witness Park while there. The Prayer Tower features a small Chapel and a 75-foot Tower with 4 Piccard bells from France. There is a beautiful and serene fountain in back of the Chapel and Tower. In front of the Chapel, there is a Sculpture of Jesus washing Peter's feet. Initially, I didn't think that the Chapel was open to the public but it was. And I am so very glad because, otherwise, I would not have been able to view and fully appreciate the Chapel's four wonderful and magnificent Stained Glass windows depicting the life of Jesus. I must say that my favorite Stained Glass window was of Jesus as the Good Shepard. Travelers Tip: The Prayer Tower and Witness Park is easy to locate in Pittsburgh, Texas since it is located at the intersection of Lafayette and Jefferson Streets. I also hope that you can be there on the hour to be able to hear the beautiful Prayer Tower's chimes every hour on the hour. The Prayer Tower Chapel and Witness Park is free and open to the public.
