Small town treasure

The library has added new sections for the toddler ages and young adults, and they have done an amazing job with both areas! The toddler area is enclosed separately, with many age appropriate toys and books that encourage hands-on, imaginative play. The young adult section includes bean bags, tables, and brand new, popular young adult book series displayed for browsing- enticing an age group that normally might not enjoy hanging out in a library. The adult section includes a quiet area for using the computers or seating area to read. I am always happy with the selection and enjoy the new titles on display at the front. My family is so grateful for this small town treasure and the labor of love that goes into maintaining it.

    Disappointed and disgusted
I just moved to the area and had my grandkids with me. I have always been a big participant in my local library. I have instilled a love of books and reading in my child and grandchildren. So a fun thing to do on our first day together before school started was to go check out the local library. Imagine my surprise at the way the man that worked there acted. He was very condescending and snobby. Granted, I was not in my nurse scrubs and had two little girls with me. I explained that I had just moved there and he was very rude. I just told my grandchildren its time to go and left. I may try to go back, since this is an activity that I love and love to share. I do not know.
