Impressive Campus
The University of Texas is the top state university with many nationally known programs so it is a elite institution. The campus is just north of the Texas State Capitol and has a great traditional campus feel. There are many historic buildings, statues and memorials to see as you stroll around the campus. The buildings tend to be white with red roofs. It is relaxing to walk around the campus which is just steps from a thriving city.

Great school but too big to see all.
People we met were most friendly, grounds are lovely and well maintained. Classes were out for Thanksgiving so it was easy to get to LBJ library. Road construction can cause delays but this is a sign of growth. I did not get to the stadium but am told it is quite a place.
