Great value!

This 750-foot tower built for the 1968 HemisFair has unbeatable panoramic views, especially if you're in the tower's revolving restaurant.

    Definitely a Must See
We had dinner here two nights ago at the Chart House restaurant. I suggest making dinner reservations. Our reservations were at 5:15 and it was a perfect time to see the San Antonio skyline during the day, then seeing the sunset, and then seeing the lights at night! The views are just breathtaking. Your ride up in the elevator is free if you are having dinner. The restaurant it self rotates very slowly so you can see in every direction. Our waitress Tina was amazing. Food was very good! This was the highlight of our trip! A definite must do! There is also a bar above the restaurant.

A nice experience, tasty food, good views!
I was on the fence whether to go here, but we were in the neighborhood, visiting the King William Historic District, and we decided to go up. Instead of paying the $16.5/person to go to the Observation Deck, we went to Bar 601, which is a couple floors below, with very similar views. During happy hour, you can get your drinks at a reduced price and enjoy the views! Since we were there, we looked at the menu, and decided to go downstairs to the Chart House for dinner. Our food was really tasty but small portions. I don't eat much and i felt that i was still hungry after our dinner. We got the sizzling mushrooms, the swordfish fillet and the Paneed Chicken. Slightly pricey but you get to sit at a revolving restaurant with beautiful views of San Antonio. Our only issue was the service. The waiter came right away and took our order. He came back a few minutes later to apologize and say they were out of rocket salad... We ordered the sizzling mushrooms instead and he said he'd be back in 5 minutes with the appetizer. He did not show up again until about 40 minutes later to apologize and say he had to take care of another table and the mushrooms got cold, so he placed a new order!? Did not make sense to us. He told us there were different flavors of creme broulee, and we ordered the traditional, only for him to come back and say that it's actually a trio of sampler flavors. Either the waiter was not trained well or the place is not managed well. Nonetheless, it was an enjoyable experience overall.
