Panoramic Views, Longhorn Cattle & Great Texas Wine -- Oh My!

Torr Na Lochs (tore nah locks) Vineyard and Winery overlooks Inks and Buchanan Lakes in the Highland Lakes area of the Texas Hill Country. The name translates from the Gaelic language to "hill over lakes" and describes the site perfectly. Our objective is to grow grapes suited for our terroir and produce wines from only Texas grown fruit.

    Fun winery-stunning Hill Country view
Perched on a hilltop overlooking the Texas Hill Country, this winery offers wine by the glass, by the bottle, and wine tastings. We got 7 pours (a small sample) for $15/person. Had fun trying different wines. The place was hopping on a Saturday but staff was friendly, knowledgeable. Visit when the weather is nice for amazing views, Don't rush, take the time to enjoy the wine and the day. Worth the visit.

    Worth the View!
The view up here is awesome! Try to visit when you can sit comfortably outside and enjoy it! They do get packed even on Sunday, so get there early, close to opening time to get a good seat and best service. There were Longhorns waiting to greet us when we pulled up, which was super cool! Their wine is ok, not as good as the view, but they are still pretty young, we will check back when new vintages come out. Staff was all very friendly.
