Waterfalls, swimming cliff diving
This city park is great for waterfalls, swimming, picnics, and the (illegal) cliff jumping. Yes, the local government does not want you jumping off the cliffs, but all the locals were jumping. There is a picnic pavilion to view the falls if you can not climb down the 1930s CCC era stairs. It is a free thing to do if you are visiting Crawford. Note: If you wish to park drive down 4th Street near the local high school football field (free).

Surprising Find
Wow, what a lovely area. We didn’t expect to find this beautiful, scenic little pool in the creek. It would be a fun place to come on a warm day, but it was a nice sight on a blustery cold January day.

Visit to Tonkawa Falls
Lovely park and swimming hole! Nice grass and shaded areas to picnic and view the falls. Located just on the edge of Crawford, Texas. Close to Waco. Great place to relax and have some family fun.
