Alpaca Ranch
Call ahead to arrange a 2-hr tour. Scenic ranch (125 acres), in a valley with creek running through it, is off Devi's Backbone (FM32) near Wimberly. There are about 125 alpacas, raised for its fleece. We were fortunate to see 3-day old newborn running around. Very relaxed setting. Tour is informative, staff is knowledgeable and friendly. You mingle and pet alpacas (the fiber, wow).
