Idyllic green lung with lake and stream in the centre of The Woodlands
Enjoyed a stroll at this amazing park during a recent visit to The Woodlands in September 2018. The park stretches right in the centre of The Woodlands and has the waterway inside of it. There’s a free trolley service that runs through the park and lets one get off at all the main stops along Market Street, Cinemark 17, the public library, The Woodlands Mall and many other prominent stops along the scenic route. It’s a good and decent way to have a glimpse of the Woodlands on a sunny morning. For children, there’s a section with open storybook courtyards that tell tales of wisdom and for everyone, there’s also a small memorial erected in honor of the US army and servicemen who lost their lives serving the nation with a statue of George Mitchell who founded The Woodlands in 1974.

Ideal location for a Business meeting
I have met clients, had many business meetings (Small groups and large), and find it easy to complete most of my errands and shopping in one beautiful area. The water, the restaurants, hotels, shops, grocery, and lovely array of meeting choices make Market Street a viable part of my week.

Well balanced urban planning.
This place has good vibes and seems “family friendly”, as the matter of fact: “everybody-friendly”. Shopping center, small lake and stream, green area, places to sit and rest. European cities have amazing historic centers but Woodlands has lovely modern unpretentious Town Center.
