Tuscany in Salado, TX!!!

What an amazing place! Not only is it pleasing to the eyes but is calming for the soul! We spend a night at the property and we just wanted to be there forever! Staff is nice, property is beautiful, amenities are great. The rooms are so nice, the online pictures does not do justice at all! (And I forgot to take a nice one) Perfect for a couple getaway, girls trip or solo trip! Pool was nice and refreshing for a hot day in Texas. Food was tasty! Wine was great! Don’t miss their sangria! We are going back soon! Already booked!

    Beautiful and peaceful
The Vineyard at Florence is a destination...but one worth the drive. We went for lunch after being picked up from the airport on our way to Belton and were not disappointed. Aside from the beautiful scenery and structures, the friendliness of all the staff was the first thing I noticed. They were welcoming and helped us get our lunch orders complete, then we got to dig into the wine flight. Normally, I have one or two wines that I really enjoy in any particular flight, but I enjoyed all of the options I selected at The Vineyard. And lunch...was delicious! That pizza cooked in a wood fired stove outside was amazing. We didn't get to look at the accommodations on-site, but they certainly looked lovely and seemed that they would provide so much privacy. Just a beautiful location!

    Texas Gem!
Texas wine connoisseurs, don’t miss out on this hidden gem. 13 miles west off 35W you will fine to closest thing to a Tuscan style retreat. They have a quaint tasting area with private rooms for private parties. We visited on July 4 for their blues, burgers and bubbles, the atmosphere was super fun. T and Joe were the best flight experts. Very informative and knowledgeable to say the least. This is a full functioning resort with a spa located on it’s very own vineyard. The wines will hold their own for California wines. My husband found his new everyday favorite. They do not sell anywhere other than their vineyard, therefore you must visit their location or website to purchase. Roma and Veritas are their reds and our new favorites. We did not stay overnight in their villas, just a quick day trip from Fort Worth and we’ll definitely be back with our friends!
