Great Records
If you are doing genealogical or historical research on any topic relating to Texas history, the Texas Collection is a "must" stop. The staff are very helpful and the extent of the collection is substantial. If the research relates to Texas Baptist history, this is THE place to do research. The Collection has archival restrictions--you must lock up everything but paper and writing implements or a computer--but the lockers are easy to access from the main research area.

The Paper Republic
We really enjoyed the exhibit containing the money of the Texas Republic. I enjoy reading about Texas and found the information to be enlightening. I learned a lot about what the republic went through before it became a state.
