Are you UP for a good time?!
If you are up (wink) for adventure don't hesitate to book a tandem skydiving experience with The Skydiving Company. What?! Where is Madisonville? It north of Houston, south of Dallas and east of College Station...close to everywhere, including Buc-ee's. Why go to some little town on I-45 to skydive?...because it is in the country and a beautiful dive so you see land, fields, water scenery, not the tops of buildings. No fighting traffic to have an awesome, relaxing adventure. The tandem guys are amazing. Their instructions are so easy to understand, and, well, it's really not that hard to jump out of a little airplane when they are handling all the logistics. I was not anxious so it was all a wonderful time. BTW...I'm 63 years old and survived breast cancer. I did not have any discomfort with all the harness straps and even when the parachute opened the jerk was very mild. Joe made the entire experience fun, relaxing, enlightening! We even landed on our feet, not bottoms. Would I jump again...you bet...just do it! (They are building a new hanger facility, but until completion, go potty before you arrive to avoid using the porta-pottys.)

A new page in my book!
Got another ( tandem) dive done today. AWESOME! Maybe I should start calling The Madisonville Skydiving Company the Home of the seventy-eight year old skydiver? I already scheduled another dive on my next birthday, October 13. Is there anyone out there as old, or older than me, still active in sky diving? If you have not tried it yet, get off your pasteurized, homogenized, freeze dried, instant society, glutenous maximus (butt) and live a little. In fact, I offer this as a challenge: All that is required is relatively good health, a little pocket change and a desire to want that little bit more from an otherwise, dull and boring, life.
