Truly a space befitting the "City in a Park" motto of Farmers Branch
There are a ton of different rose bushes covering the entire northern section of the park near the City Hall. There's also an absolutely beautiful cemetery next door, and a stream and park area with a large rentable pavilion here. When I get a new lens, this is where I head for gorgeous photos of the roses.

Saw lots of Monarch in mid-October
We went here this afternoon--a sunny afternoon in mid-October. Lovely, diverse rose gardens and a special area for plants that attract butterflies. Lots of monarchs. Beautiful to behold. Highly recommend. There are wonderful playgrounds and picnic areas nearby.

Roses, roses and more roses
I have been here a few times. It just makes ma happy to walk around this beautiful garden of roses and other flora. If you time it right as we did in the fall/October it was filled with butterflies. My daughter likes to take photos here as do several other people because it’s a perfect backdrop for family photos. The only thing you cannot control is the dude that has his music blasting out his car right by the sign that says something to the affect of no music or other loud noises. The city does an excellent job of keeping the gardens maintained and all the plants are marked which is also key.
