Quick Stop for a Good Photo Op
We go through Paris quite regularly on our way to Oklahoma. As we were driving through this time, my wife mentioned that there was a replica of the Eiffel Tower in town. I had no idea! So I looked it up and plugged it into Waze. Only three minutes away so we detoured. It is next to the Civic Center with lots of parking very close to it. I took some pictures of her and we took some selfies. And if you frame it right, you can take them both with the red cowboy hat in the picture (for a memory) or with it cropped out (to use to fool people). We’ve already sent it some folks and told them we decided to go to Paris for the Labor Day weekend!

    Fun quick stop
This was our very first stop on a 2-week circumnavigation trip of the state of Texas. We started north of Dallas and headed northeast. One of our travel mates had not ever seen the Texas Eifel Tower and we decided we had to start here. We took our picture and visited the adjoining Veterans' War Memorial. It doesn't take long and it's a fun little stop!
