1888 Historic Mills County Jail
My husband and I pulled off US 183 at the courthouse square to get a closer look at the Historic Mills County Jail. The jail was built in 1888. The Victorian building is a two-story and served as the jail until 1977. It is no longer in use. It is worth a 5-10 minute stop to walk around the historic jail and courthouse.
