I’ve visited this site many times and it just keeps getting better. Wonderful pottery, turned wood and jewelry fill the front of the store. The back is full of craft supplies and where you can take all types of classes. Don’t miss this great shop.

In the back
Across from The Tinsmith's Wife. The front of the spacious shop are some of the most astounding wood "crafts" I have ever seen. There are other pieces of art but the wood workings just took my breath away. But then in the back... Is the Loom Room! We were extremely lucky because there was no one else in the shop and the clerk/instructor/owner spent a lot of time with us. My sister is an artist so she had a million questions and this woman was able to explain everything in enough detail to satisfy her. They teach looming and have all kinds of looms, large and small, available to take lessons on. They also teach spinning with all of the necessary equipment. There is so much to learn and see. She teaches very small classes that include enough time to actually begin to know what you are doing. They aren't cheap but with what she described is included the prices seem reasonable to me. If you are interested in fiber art at all this is definitely worth the time. If you can tear yourself away from the wood art in the front!
