Morning walk on trail
Falls were dried up due to lack of rain but the park awesome place to walk. Lots of shade and nice paved paths along Witchita river. We went early morn and forgot to bug spray so do that because we ran into batch of mosquitos in few spots.

Ridiculously beautiful and serene <3
I thoroughly enjoyed the few hours I was there! It was ridiculously hot, but still very beautiful and serene. I was there visiting a friend and decided to take a walk to the falls! It ended up turning into a "hike" because we took the long way around the park to get there!! Once we got to the falls, there was a slight breeze that made it all worth it! We were lucky and there was a Pokémon Go event going on, so that helped give us a little more energy for the "hike". If I ever make it back to Wichita Falls, I am absofreakinglutely going back to this park! I loved every minute of it.

HARD TO FIND
After trying our GPS and asking directions at our hotel, we spent 1-1/2 hours trying to locate the falls. We finally went to the Texas Tour Information building and there, we were given a map and directions. You have to walk a little distance on a concrete walk way depending on where you park. There are no signs around town directing you to the falls and in the park where the falls are located there are little signs giving you directions.
