A must see in San Antonio!
A trip to the Buckhorn never disappoints with taxidermy animals covering the walls of the saloon and all throughout the museum. You get to see animals from all over the world. There's even a freakshow exhibit where the 2 headed animals and other "freaks of nature" are located. Also included with the price of admission is the Texas Ranger Museum. Interesting information about the Texas Rangers and of course the replica of an old west style Texas Town is a must see! The front of the museum is also a saloon. The oldest one in Texas to be exact. And if you buy a drink you can take it throughout the entire museum which makes for a fun museum experience! Don't forget to check out the gift shop at the end to get some really cool souvenirs of the museum and San Antonio in general. I'll definitely be back ?

    Museum Visit
If you like Western history, you will love the Texas Ranger Museum! It has many different exhibits other then the Texas Ranger history. Approximately 30-45 minutes can be spent her exploring the museum and a meal can be eaten at the Buck-horn Saloon before or after the museum visit. (Our tickets were purchases with the San Antonio City Sightseeing Super Pass, and highly recommended!)
