Lovely old mansion

The history behind this beautiful home that was gifted to the City of Tyler is very interesting. Most items in the home belonged to the original owners. Beautiful grounds and a great place to start the Tyler Azalea Trail in the spring.

A Very Nice Historic House to Visit
I've been to a lot of historic homes and this is one of the best. The house contains many of the items the Goodman family owned which helped to give the house a personality. The family traveled throughout the world and collected many pieces along the way. As usual it gives us an appreciation for modern living. The tour guide, along with everyone else, were very helpful, informative, and friendly. If you are in the area it is well worth stopping by.

    Lovely Historic Home
We had a wonderful private tour through the entire home from the Parks Dept. manager in charge of the home. She really explained all the details about the family and the incredible contents such as furniture, pottery from around the world, glassware and china. The ground are also beautiful to walk around.
