I recommend a visit!
My family and I most definitely enjoyed the visit to the Texas Panhandle War Memorial. We were welcomed with open arms, very friendly and the museum is most definitely a sight to see. It's a great place to visit in which to reflect our freedoms and to honor our brothers and sisters in arm that have paid the ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms and our nation. I most definitely recommend visiting, there are many historical artifacts to see, friendly and welcoming staff as well as a gift shop. 12/29

The Vietnam Dustoff Association held an event at this Memorial
The VFW and other service organizations held a special memorial event for us. It was very moving and nicely done especially given the outside air temperatures were in the upper 40's. Very nice memorial with a UH-1 helicopter and F-100 fighter on display. Great way to honor veterans and to hold memorial related events. Their education center when it is completed will make this a place to visited without hesitation.

Beautiful park and tribute
They have done a lovely job with this memorial park...very nice. Surrounding neighborhood isn't all that great looking, but this is a nice little oasis.
