From Student to Family
My daughter and I signed up for the PADI open water diver class and the experience far exceeded my expectations!! To start off, Jim greeted us by name when we walked in (never met us before), then showed us to our sleeping accommodations. Our instructors were Brtan Blauvet and Conrad - two of the nicest and most patient people I've ever met. They made us feel at home both in the water and out of it. Then we got to meet the owners of Texan Scuba - Phil and Sharla. They made dinner for our class and made sure none of us were hungry after a long day in the water. Every single person we met while we were there was very engaging and willing to answer our endless questions. When I started the book portion of the class, PADI kept talikg about how much of a social community diving is...well, Texan Scuba embodies that philosophy. We walked in as students and left feeling like we had gained another family. Thank you all soooo much! ❤

Great Weekend Class
My wife and I took the class. The instructor was Brian who was assisted by Jimmy and Morgan. All three of these staff members were incredibly patient, helpful, and kind. You could tell that they were teaching the class because it was a labor of love for them. When my wife fell a little behind, there was always a teacher there to step in and help her catch up with 1 on 1 attention. Any time we mentioned some sort of issue or problem we were having, they always had helpful suggestions and made sure we were moving at a pace the entire class was comfortable with. Even before the class started, we called and stopped by the dive shop and they were able to answer all our questions and help put us at ease. If you are on the fence about learning to dive, give them a call and they will help you out.

A fabulous experience, highly recommended! ?????
Scuba diving was something I had always wanted to do, but was afraid to. A friend talked me into getting certified. Man, I am so glad I did! Sheila Shelton was my instructor. She was absolutely fabulous. Very caring, patient, and professional. Scuba diving has opened up a world very few people ever get to experience. What a fabulous time I have every time I go diving. Phil Riggs has a great place, Blue Lagoon. Everyone out there has always been so friendly and helpful. It is a great place to spend time diving and having fun with friends. I highly recommend it! ?????
