Studio Samadhi is a small locally owned yoga studio offering more traditional yoga classes. No hot yoga is offered. In my opinion, that is a plus. The website posts daily schedules along with a description of the intensity of each class. Instructors are very good about offering suggestions for modification if a lower or higher level of intensity is desired no matter what class is being offered. Students are from all age groups. (Children's yoga is even offered at times.) The atmosphere is relaxed, casual, low key, welcoming, and friendly. No pressure to be a yoga diva wearing the latest outfit. Some students have been coming since it opened several years ago. Several different class packages are available from a single class, multiple classes, or an annual membership allowing access to all regularly scheduled classes. Special packages are also offered. Educational or fun events are provided for an additional fee, usually very nominal. A nice touch is the chai tea offered after each class. A small selection of retail items is available, including the wonderful tea. Studio Samadhi is a little gem tucked away in an unlikely place more associated with urban sprawl and the Texas Motor Speedway. Ahhhhhhhh.
