Stonehenge Replica, Texas, United States

4.0 (147 reviews) Spent Ranking #1 in Odessa Historic Sites • Ancient Ruins

Fun site for kids and adults. Good photo op.

Fun stop for kids and adults. Unlike the real Stonehenge you can walk all around inside this full size replica. Kids had fun climbing up on slabs and running around playing tag. While we were there many other groups stopped in to see it as well; quite a popular site to take in. Free with nearby parking.

    Texas druids
Tood a day trip from Arlington to Odessa just to see this. I have seen the original a couple of times so this sparked my interest when I found out about it. It was worth the drive. Now I don't have to fly my wife to England to see. :) We went back at dusk to take pictures when the night lights come on. For a replica, it is pretty well done. Just need a fish and Chip restaurant nearby.

    Free and interesting
I stopped here mostly to break up a long trip across Texas. However, it really is quite interesting. They have signs explaining how engineering students designed and built the thing and comparing it to the original in England. That was almost as interesting as the stones themselves. It's not too far off the interstate, and it is worth a stop.
