My husband and I went for the first time and we love it, we live in Killeen and we love it so much that we are planning to return and bought the annual pass because we are definitively planning to go back again with our daughter as many times as we can. Water is very clear and area was very clean. Restrooms has a shower and were clean as well

Union Groove Camping
This is a piece of heaven tucked away from the mainstream life. The park is well kept, the toilets and showers were clean, the water was beautiful and the shore line was uncluttered.

Sitting in the sun
The water was clear and cold. It was nice on this really hot day. There is not really a beach. It is stones were you would have a beach. Make sure to wear water shoes because there is rocks all over on land and in the water. The scenery is calming and relaxing. Heads up: People leave their trash. Please help by picking up your trash and don’t bring glass! If you do break your glass please clean it up. We had to find a place to sit that didn’t have glass broken and left behind by people.
