Docent made the visit
It is an old house, re-purposed several times, now with decor reflecting two historical periods. The docents stayed late for us and gave an excellent description of the rooms, how the renovation worked and what it was designed ot tell us about Nacogdoches. We enjoyed it very much, and really appreciated the kind and thorough attention we go.

Walk were Sam Houston and Davy Crockett walked
The tours at this museum are well done. You find how the architecture of the house was designed to facilitate fresh air flow and also entertainment. Every time we visit Nacogdoches we try to visit the Sterne Hoya Home.
