Great professional regional theatre
Stage West is a professional theatre company operating under agreement with Actors’ Equity Association, the professional union of theatrical actors and stage managers in the United States. For over 38 years, Stage West has been praised for its excellence, producing 265 shows, including 244 plays and 21 musicals. Stage West has risen from modest, storefront beginnings to a highly-respected place among American regional theatres. Over the years, the theatre has produced a wide range of works - classic American and world drama, Shakespeare, Shaw, contemporary Broadway plays and musicals, as well as new works by aspiring playwrights, including 12 world premieres. Stage West's goal is to broaden and intensify the theatrical experience for our patrons with consistently excellent acting, directing and plays. Through this, the company nurtures the artistic growth of area actors, directors, designers, playwrights and musicians.

Fantastic Theatre is Back - Right Here in Fort Worth!
Stage West Theatre offers a wonderful variety of musicals and plays in an intimate setting. Every seat allows one to feel connected to the cast. The actors offer performances that are spell binding and thought provoking. I have attended all four of the shows offered to date this season (JQA, Scrooge In Rouge, Church & State, On the Exhale) and have never been disappointed. One can dine before the performance or take in a coffee and desert at intermission.

New Space for a Great Little Theater
The new renovation at Stage West Theatre has made a great theater even better. Two performance spaces are available for productions and are flexible so that plays can be presented in the best space for each one. Seats are comfortable and food is available in the cafe. We just saw JQA, and if the rest of the season is as good, you are in for a theater treat. Talent is as good here as anywhere!
