Annual Visit to the Maize is always A-Maizing
We live about 1.5 hours from Hondo but every fall we make a trek to the South Texas Maize around Halloween. The Maize was great this year with all of the rain we have had, the corn was dense and tall, we only did one side (there are two) but had a blast as usual. There are plenty of activities to do, feed the goats, the big hill slide, the two bouncy mounds, horse rides, pig races, hay rides, climb on the hay bales and more. They have had fireworks on weekend nights in the past but had to pass this year to cost increase apparently. There is plenty of food and drinks for purchase and don't forget to stop off in the pumpkin patch, we got some good carving ones for home. My boys, 7, 9 and 11 all love spending a day at the Maize and has become a family tradition over the past few years.

Get your kids out of the city and enjoy!
The South Texas Maize is only open in the fall. It is a wonderful experience for adults and children. They always have a variety of things going on so take your kids, wander through the maize, grab a bag of kettle corn and sit by your own campfire!

Team Building
Had a great time at the corn maze! Utilized as Team Building exercise! They were very accommodating and friendly with our large group of 21. Had a great time!
