Son’s Island Seguin, Tx
We rented a daytime cabana from 10:30-6:30 for 5 adults, 1 teen, and 1 child. There was plenty of room! We rented cabana C6 because it was the first one, meaning we only had neighbors on one side. It was really private, close to the parking lot, and close to some porta potties. We also rented an iFloat, a paddleboard, and a kayak for the day. We brought our own floats too. Next time I think we might try to get one of the cabanas that are over the water. We brought a cooler full of drinks, some match light charcoal, and cooked hotdogs for lunch. Overall, it was a fun day trip! They offer tents if you want to camp on site, but we wanted to stay in a hotel with AC!!

First timer
First time going after seeing on TV. My family had a ball as we went on the weekday had a double decker cabana with a grill and hammock. The process was easy and the water was cold but warms up you can float unlimited times with the unlimited pass. Some sections of the water is deep but alot is swallow. The tubing experience was the best I had for the money worth I was floating for 2 hours on one trip. The only negative is Porta potties.

Son's River Ranch
We stayed at their River Ranch property. It was nice in that it was convenient and the employees were all very friendly, but the showers/toilets needed to be cleaned more often. They were very dirty and backed up. The entire area, while beautiful, smelled like sewage on account of all plumbing being portable style. There were bees EVERYWHERE. I expected like flies and mosquitoes but dang you couldn't sit or cook outside without being mobbed by bees. The glamping tents are very close together. No one obeys the suggested "quiet times" so it's loud music and cursing and drinking and drug use until like 1 AM every night. Lots of trash in and around the incredibly beautiful river too. What a great idea this was, that the Son's company is trying to execute. If only humans would take care of the earth around them.
