The Place to go for a first time jumper!
First time I jumped. Highly recommend! Everyone was professional and friendly. My tandem guide (Josh) had the confidence needed for someone who was scared to jump for the first time. I loved it and would do it again.

The best drop zone in central Texas, period!!
I've been to all the drop zones in central Texas including Skydive San Marcos, Skydive Temple, and Austin Skydiving Center (which is nowhere neat Austin btw) and of course, Skydive Lone Star. Out of all of them SDLS is, by far, the most fun and rewarding experience I've had with my 13 years in the sport. GREAT staff, GREAT plane, GREAT fun jumpers, and a drop zone owner (DZO) that actually "gets it". I'm not going to disparage other drop zones so I'll only say positive things about this one. If you don't go hear you're definitely missing out on some good times.

Tandem skydiving
Ok, so this was my second time but by far, the best! I love Coots! He was great! And definitely worth paying the extra money to go to 18K....more time to free fall! We will definitely be back!
