Silver Spur Ranch, Texas, United States

4.5 (67 reviews) Spent Ranking #3 in Bandera County Ranches

ATV Adventure

We were pleasantly surprised to be welcomed to the ranch with a visit from a friendly burrow. With Patrick as our leader, we set out for a fun-packed afternoon in two Polaris ATVs. My son (note: drivers must be 21 years old) loved racing through the mud hole, skidding around turns, and taking the jump close by the grazing longhorns. I hate we did not have enough time to enjoy the other amenities that Silver Spur had to offer, such as the pool. We would have liked the roping exhibition as well.

A wonderful experience with an incredible staff!
I recently held a 4-day intensive weekend course at the Silver Spur Guest Ranch for over 100 college-aged international students from around the world. The Silver Spur staff went above and beyond to meet our every need and to serve great food with a very happy and engaged attitude. They provided a hayride to visit and feed the Long Horns, led a hike to Indian burial grounds on the property, provided trail rides and a petting zoo experience, and arranged for a roping tricks show at a Cowboy breakfast just after Sunrise. The students loved their experience and said that it was among the most memorable weekends of their lives! We are excited to continue hosting classes at Silver Spur and working with their wonderful staff to provide the best educational experience possible in a very unique setting!

    Good time
Spent two nights with meals breakfast lunch dinner. Evening was Smores around a beautiful campfire with a pair of super friendly donkeys that enjoy Smores also.Went horseback riding one hour each day with well trained horses, and the guide took us through some real pretty woods on up to some nice views of rolling hills.Evening is a hayride or a.t.v ride to get up close to some very large Longhorn cattle and watch the guide feed them.We got to feed goats and pet the babies that were 2 months old.The meals were very good with large portions .The owner, his family, and all the help were above excellent they made our stay very comfortable. We will return
