Enjoy the Sculptures

Walked through and photographed the sculptures. Variety of pieces to see. Interactive area of musical instruments available to try also. Benches available near public restrooms to stop and enjoy outside/nature for a bit. Visited early in the morning hours, and window-shopped the stores in this area.

    Downtown Art & Shopping is Fun!
    We have made two trips to Marble Falls and we always want to go downtown Marble Falls for a visit! Many of the buildings have been maintained and/or updated on Main Street. Cute little shops, quaint boutiques and beautiful art abounds. We always stop and look at the art that is on display in the medians and nearby businesses. While I am not a big abstract art fan, I do enjoy looking at most of the pieces on display. We always take pictures of them because there is such a variety! We also enjoy going to the shops though some are a bit on the pricey side. Some of our favorites are The Mews (Interior Design/Decorating) and Marta Stafford Fine Art (local Gallery) and the Book Stop (local book store). The proprietors of these stores/studios are gifted people whom are truly friendly and down to earth!

    Wonderful interactive music art in the middle of the square
    The giant dragon fly is not above the cinema due to reconstruction. The interactive music art was really enjoyable. We did not have any children with us, but we did not let us stop us from making our own music with the inviting hands on music art. It was really fun making noise on main street. The beautiful Indian sitting on a horse with flute is way off the beaten path in front of a business entrance. I did admire it when we passed it, but it way off the beaten path away from the the other sculptures. I also enjoyed the beautiful sculpture of the the little girl in front of City Hall. It was so lonely and dirty sitting under the beautiful tree across from the shops. Many people probably don't even notice her, but I did. She is lovely and under appreciated.
