Great view!
I admit I am a fan of this kind of place, but I really enjoyed coming up here and looking out over the two cities. We were just passing through El Paso, and I heard about this scenic drive. It was a lot of fun getting up here, and once we got to the parking area with the monuments and such, we spent a good half an hour looking down on the city. It was fun trying to pick out the border with Mexico and trying to identify other things. It was especially nice because we could see for 50 miles. Two days later I was in Los Angeles and couldn't see a thing.

Beautiful views
Nice winding drive with lookout points to take some photos. Beautiful views of El Paso to the Mexican border. We went late afternoon. I am sure it is beautiful at sunset or at night to see the city all lit up.

Scenic Drive El Paso
Short but nice drive. We walked on Rim Road, which has a lot of nice houses. Good views of El Paso and Juarez. A couple of nice overlooks. The drive at night could be interesting with the city lit up, but I would be wary of the overlooks, as the liquor bottles and trash left behind indicate a less desirable atmosphere at night. Good to do if in El Paso, not going worth going out of the way.
