The Round Top Festival Institute located in Round Top Texas is the premiere international music conservatory in Texas. Festival Hill is one of Texas’ best kept secrets. The music conservatory is located halfway between Austin and Houston, Texas. It offers year-round classical and contemporary music concerts. Round Top Festival Institute is nestled in spacious, forested acreage. The property boasts unique, fairtyale-like medieval stone landscaping, a reflection pond, a historic chapel, a large veranda for weddings, events, and receptions, and the internationally-renowned concert hall. The concert hall contains exquisite woodwork. It took several years to build. It is a hidden gem with impeccable acoustics. ROUND TOP MUSIC FESTIVAL CHAMBER MUSIC CONCERT - JULY 2019 Each summer, Round Top Music Institute brings in some of the world’s most internationally acclaimed up-and-coming musicians who attend the institute’s summer apprenticeship program. The students hail from all over the world. They train, practice, and then perform concerts throughout the summer. We recently attended the Round Top Music Festival’s last concert of the summer series in July. The weekend featured lovely chamber music. Saturday night, the annual lavish post-concert reception transforms the elegant environment into a memorable celebration replete with a jiving band, delicious culinary appetizers, desserts, and banana foster, and students and patrons who spend the evening dancing and celebrating the summer season.

Took A Drive up to Round Top to see this Fabulous Performance Hall (Organization) while staying in Brenham
Took A Drive up to Round Top to see this Fabulous Performance Hall (Organization) while staying in Brenham Haute Performance Hall in the Country, Like a Dream once you step inside. Lots of money and talent used to create this Spectacular Building and Organization. Though we have not yet seen a performance here, we did give ourselves a Self Guided Tour while an actual tour was going on. They were actually polishing all the Wooden areas in the building, the ceiling is certain a place to look up to in awe as is the rest of the inside. This place is very special and we are told the sound quality is right up there with the acoustically close to perfect rare venues in the world. The school is also well accredited with students from around the world. Recommended to see it in all its glory and if you have time , see a performance , we , will. It was constructed in the early 1980's and thats the first time I saw it but now we hope to see a performance there soon. Highly Recommended.
