Great beer
Roughhouse Brewing is a family-run craft brewery located on 5 acres of the Pasternak family ranch just south of Wimberley. Focusing on farmhouse ales, Roughhouse offers a lineup of dry, crisp, refreshing beers to enjoy on a hot Texas day! The brewery and taproom is housed in a wooden barn with plenty of shady outdoor seating (indoor access limited during COVID-19). The facility is pet- and kid-friendly and offers a full menu of scratchmade food using ingredients primarily sourced from Texas producers. Come visit the brewery and taproom, open every weekend, Thursday through Sunday. Draught beers and bottles to-go are available for purchase, along with wine, cider and non-alcoholic options sourced from other Texas providers. Excellent craft beer - worth a stop near Wimberley.
Cool setting not on the highway. Very neat and clean and really good craft beer. My wife had the chardonnay and it was just ok. They could use some variety when couples visit and one is not a beer drinker. Try a Josh, La Crema, or other low priced chard and it will go over well. I had a fall craft beer and it was top notch. We didn't stay for music but I expect this place is popular. Tables are spread out and it is easy to distance.

Nice Stop
Stopped by this light and beautiful spot while visiting family in the area. Quite a few farmhouse ales and several of us enjoyed flights.Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. There is seating upstairs although I did not go up to that level. Beautiful landscaping and very pleasant outdoor seating and activities.
